Drew the lines on 4/29. Haven't looked at it until this evening. I stopped looking at it because it was not going EXACTLY as I had drawn it so I gave up and looked elsewhere.
Lessons learned: It doesnt have to be exact or perfect. It just has to be close enough. I can adapt and modify my plan according to how the market moves. Just because the price action is not exactly on my line, does not mean the trade is invalid.
I also learned that once you make a trading plan, stick with it. My lack of price action movement helped prevent me from entering the trade. When I returned to the chart a few days later, it was pretty damn close to what I had drawn days before.
