✳️ The Internet Computer vs Bitcoin | ALTSBTC Revisited

The Altcoins vs Bitcoin pairs (ALTSBTC) have been lagging behind, this is no secret.

You can hold an Altcoin through its BTC pair and see your BTC drop while you keep the same USDT value but we trade the BTC pairs because we want more BTC.

Then you can see some of these pair only grow 60% or 80% while the USDT pairing grows more but you have to consider the whole picture.

When your BTC pair grows 50% and Bitcoin grows 100% there is a multiplier effect in place.

Example: If you hold 0.10 BTC, a 50% rise will end at 0.15 BTC.

If Bitcoin's value is $10,000 you end up with $1,500.
(0.10 BTC = $1,000 + 50% = $1,500 or 0.15 BTC x $10,000 = $1,500).

Now, at the same time that your Altcoin went up, Bitcoin doubled in price, say in 3 months.

If Bitcoin's value is $20,000 in this example, your 0.15 BTC is now worth $3,000.

Your initial $1,000 ends up as $3,000 which is 300% earnings or a 200% profit.

Trading Bitcoin pairs can be a bit more complex but highly profitable if done correctly, at the right time or with patience.

An Altcoin pair can go down for 3 months and then a recovery can happen within 3 day, the Cryptocurrency market is very volatile and complex. The initial recovery can happen fast and then a long time for the bullish wave to develop... Patience is needed to play this game.

Whatever you choose is up to you and it is wise to study, do some research before trading.

At one point things can look really bad, at another point everything suddenly changes.

If one can follow a plan, the stop-loss it is easy to win, discipline is needed.

The risk is limited to 10%, 15%, 25% or whatever you choose... The upside potential is unlimited.

The RSI just hit its lowest level ever, the last time this happened back in December 2021 a bullish wave followed.

The same scenario can repeat as an oversold RSI is one of the first signals that show up before a change of trend.

Choosing Bitcoin or Tether depends on your experience, strategy or goals, I use them because I focus on the long-term, buy and hold.

We diversify and use a mix of different systems just in case one doesn't work the other can protect you.
