Bullish on indices, but I don't trust those lows. Want to see them taken out before the move up. FVG below is added reason to expect them to fail.
Comment:
took a long on NAS
Comment:
moving well. break even.
Comment:
still holding. reducing to 1 TP at the weekly open as I want to focus on shorts.
Comment:
closed out per the inital plan.
Comment:
short on NAS
Comment:
fiesty price action from NAS. if it breaks down ill add more to the position.
Comment:
just needed some patience. decided not to add.
Comment:
going break even.
Comment:
very nice delivery. a more risk averse approach would be to TP here at the daily open. But i am expecting a daily rejection candle and I dont thing the daily body has formed yet.
Comment:
closing out in this range for the first TP.
Comment:
moving my stop into profit above the daily open price. if its a red day we dont have any more business above the open.
Comment:
cheeky 1hr FVG. gave it back room.
Comment:
not a real added position, just for education. afternoon session continuation.
Comment:
fully closed out of first position (80%) as it trades through the entire TP range. Looks as if the 2nd added position would have been profitable.
Comment:
SL moved further into profit.
Comment:
Lol NAS has been so feisty today. Still in this but almost got stopped in profit.
Comment:
extending my TP, i think 2AM news delivers it.
Comment:
NAS completes full TPs. Trade collapsed.
Comment:
plotting on more shorts.
Comment:
still plotting.
Comment:
a bit risky, going off 1min buyside liquidity raid at the weekly open. If price chases sellside its likely to keep doing it on the larger macros.
Comment:
big targets if it plays. at least for now.
Comment:
regardless of the outcome, you overtraded today. there will always be more opportunities, trust in your ability to recognize them when they appear. forcing opportunities in bad trading conditions will not serve you long term.
Comment:
LFG?
Comment:
Good analysis, a little luck, and a lot of hubris on this one.
Comment:
price needs to close below the 12AM open to convince me im right here.
Comment:
going break even. Unemployment claims at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Hoping for completion during the volatility and ideally will not trade NAS tomorrow.
Comment:
this is the expectation, lets see how reality delivers.
Comment:
so far so good, but its still a waiting game till i can TP. havent seen anywhere I want to move my stop to so its still close to break even which I dont love at the moment.
Comment:
was afk at work and couldnt mitigate. still holding and expecting completion but gave back a lot of open profit.
Comment:
should have taken profit at the sellside target. expecting price to keep pushing was taking on more risk than was necessary for a good trade.
Comment:
Still holding but I get an F on trade management for this one. I want to see the 2HR close below its balanced range. if it doesnt im exiting at market

This week of price action has been funkyyyy. the last 5 days on the daily have all been rejection candles with long wicks and no real bodies. was hoping today would be a strong bearish body candle on the daily but this retrace is a wick. I am still in it cus I am stubborn. Will decide if I want to exit for partial profit an lick my wounds or if the full TP areas are still valid.
Comment:
Lol full TPs still definitely still valid.
Comment:
TP'd and short again.
Comment:
All stop losses above recent high.
Comment:
Going break even.
Comment:
still in it, would have entered short if I wasn't already
Comment:
considering a buy.
Comment:
bought here.
Comment:
SL to BE.
Comment:
healthy delivery, pretty solid expectation at east TP1 will be met.
Comment:
added position for study purposes only, not a real position
Comment:
took TP1 at asia high.
Comment:
likely about to get stopped out in profit.
Comment:
Stopped out in profit. Done for the week.
Comment:
for education, not a real trade as it is passed 3PM EST
Comment:
would not have held price didnt give any more movement today. Good week overall on NAS analysis.

Let the algo show you its hand.
