From the Vault of Zapperman: Strategy #22 - "GO BIG OR GO HOME!"

Education
BITTREX:NEOETH   Neo / Ethereum
This strategy I have been running for a while now, on NEOETH, and can verify live trades against the back tester have a "maximum" error , across all trades displayed, of +/- 0.30%. To be frank, of all the strategies I have developed, and as mentioned before well over 400 custom technical indicators and ATSs/EAs, this one is uses some secret sauce I will eventually disclose to the world, with how it is actually possible to take $50,000 and turn it into >$4M within under a year. Dreaming? Nope..This is inclusive of the broker fees, which for this exchange, is a flat 0.25%, and it is amazing that even though that is 0.0025, which does not seem like it would affect a strategy by very much, it is amazing the difference it can make, especially for HFT scalpers, between a winning strategy and a losing strategy. Be sure to always include any/all fees by the broker, and ALWAYS set your trailing stops to turn on AFTER BREAK-EVEN and certainly not before. I do not use SL's or TP's, rather, let the actual strategy determine when to exit. Its really unfortunate we cant short the crypto pairs as we can in FOREX using a PIP system. We would have all made a fortune in the last 4 months just taking sell positions alone. Why the exchanges only enable traders to do spot trading, actually does not make any sense...For example, the EURUSD pair we either buy EURO and Sell USD or vice versa, right - which is why we can short the FOREX pairs. Same should be for Crypto, with the exception of the "margin" or leveraged accounts which offer leverage > 100:1 be VERY CAREFUL of these firms I have been screwed over big time, and don't want you to learn the hard way like I had to. Ask yourself, if an alleged "broker" which is probably a dealing desk posing as a broker, offers you 500:1 leverage, where exactly is the liquidity coming from to support such leverage, and, what happens when you go to withdraw a lot of profits? Answer: Something goes wrong with their system suddenly, or they literally string you along for a bit then suddenly they just disappear and you can kiss your deposited money, and all your hard earned profits good-bye. For example - If I was in a leveraged account of 500:1, and started with the same balance this strategy started with under a year ago (based on when the first trade was actually placed as is indicated if you click on list of trades). So, with $50,000*500 that would be equal to $25M I get to trade with. At first thought you might say, "WOW I CAN MAKE A FORTUNE!!!" Well, best slow your roll, as two things I want you to realize if you are a non-experienced trader: a) You can LOSE at 500X the rate when market goes slightly in the other direction, which means the "broker" will most likely stop you out, and you lose all your money in the blink of an eye (analogous to a margin call, but far worse when trading FOREX), and b) Say you made the same profits as in the case of this $weet bot I built on this posting, however, it was fully leveraged and you actually pulled it off - Congratulations!! Now, let's see you go and yank out $4M+*500 = $2,000,000,000.00 (that is Two Billion USD) from your alleged honest broker (of course less their very low fees!!)...If you ever pull that off, I will personally give you a full bitcoin, for free, if you can prove it, because it is an impossibility, there is no bank/liquidity pool providing liquidity for $2B USD*1000 clients & just transfers your winnings to you next day! If you believe that, you are not living in the real world and should only trade with a demo account until you do realize that your real money, when leveraged >100:1 by some "broker" will not EVER be sent back to you, nor will your profits. Thankfully, still as of current, that is still not the case for "SPOT" crypto trading and i hope it stays that way, and, BEWARE of any Crypto Margin Trading - that is not the real exchange. Stick with Spot!
