Index banknifty & nifty

BANKNIFTY and NIFTY from past few months both index runs in different direction in intraday. It has now become quite hard to judge the mood of the market in overall perspective at times. There gapping up n down has also become very volatile at times. Does it happening because of a lot of Algo HFT started in index and retailers with small stoploss are now starting to lose more due to which. If you had any opinion or theory pls do share here. ty
