NIO in the Electric Vehicles with a China Spin has great potential to be bigger than Tesla , but the price looks to be way out over their skis.
11/17 is earnings , I looks like we're seeing "buy the rumor" and I'm expecting "sell the fact" come 11/18

I'll be watching for a reasonable entry then, and playing QCLN for the long run to win on EV no matter who does.

Comment: NIO continued up and spiked again. I'm not sure of why the drop triggered today pre-earnings, but...here it comes.

Comment: NIO came down 15% (25% swing high to low), on Friday. Still expecting further descent after earnings this week.

Comment: I'm out on NIO. Daniel Pronk did a good youtube video going through the May earnings and comparing vs. TSLA. Looks to be WAY overpriced even if it falls.

Comment: The earnings report was exceptional. The price barely moved in after hours. We'll see tomorrow.

maybe not anytime soon. pullback can be caused only due to profit taking which is not happening , which means that thing has a lot more to go. it is a safe buy.

@Mokec, So what well zoom plunged 30% better sell zoom , people like you are waiting for sell off since nio was 30 . and that was just profit taking not a sell off. just closed my position in profit and now I am buying again which was not right but the greed to make some extra dollar was too strong , it could go either way.

is ur idea a buy or sell befor or after earnings?? biden win good bull run continues this week?

They said the same thing for months about TSLA, and got a nice short squeeze.

This is not a short stock. This is a long play all day!!

@jimba8011, We'll see brother. I'm ready for long plays. This short sideways game since 9/3 is not my thing. QCLN for now for me, hedging my bets with the whole EV/Hydro class. I'll add NIO after earnings on 11/17 pretty much regardless of direction.

I know you are probably right, but I also know that a shit load of bears will lose their shirts shorting hyperbolic stocks like NIO.
