Big down momentums have been signal in the past that there is strong concerns about the economic markets. Big players sold, market tries to recover on "promising data" but only marginally grows on low momentum. Then market starts to fall, businesses start to turn from relief to longer-term worries and lower their work force and expenses. Unemployment goes up as seen in my other chart all contributing to the start of a new recession.
