Week 33 | NVDA

NASDAQ:NVDA   NVIDIA
I'd love to hear thoughts on my ideas, so please let's grow as a community and communicate. \

NVDA is reaching a no mans land IMO. Likely to see chop here with some slow selling into earnings (history repeats). Best play here is sell the 430 against the 440 CALLS on 28th expiry, plan to close on ER day. I dont see a big pop happening unless their is some OUTSTANDING AI news, but needs to be big to make anyone get excited at this point. Market is saturated in AI news.

Going to wait until after earnings and have LOTS OF CASH on hand to play the momentum. It could be monumental.

You could also buy a few waaay OTM calls/puts on this NOW, premium should pump (haven't looked lately but likely they are...)
Comment:
I used to think that if ZERO volume in a zone would me a really sharp drop back to the area the zone started in. See the 320 up ZONE on NVDA. I now realize that the BUY only area is a lot of money, likely with a per defined ASK of 380 plus upon news. They likely have a long hold. Anyway, BIG gap fills are unlikely. Small ones are. I REALLYT want NVDA to prove me wrong.
Comment:

Looks like the saudis bought into NVDA, along with some pumps from big bank analysts. Always makes me think they are getting ready for a short and trying to exit. Likely to trade in this zone here until earnings. Then DOWN is likely. Market is expecting HUGE things from NVDA, won't deliver. (uh hum , TSMC)
Comment:
That initial bounce was stronger than I expected, and it sounds like that was money coming from Middle East, thus the big move/volume. I was able to stay agile and profitable on NVDA this week, but not touching it until after earnings. I'll probably add a Week 35 entry but not until Sunday night or Monday. Curious to see what today's close does, this could squeeze a bit early next week... Kind of doubt it, I think it'll have a holding pattern until earnings.
Trade closed: target reached
