PCAR Update

NASDAQ:PCAR   PACCAR Inc.
Looks like the regional bank whipsaw again, lol. Same pattern as last time when SIVB went belly up, the highlighted area.

I'll wait until daily MFI gets oversold, PCAR always bounces then. Wasn;t sure which way AAPL earnings was gonna go yesterday afternoon, so I stayed out. WOuld have been a nice one day trade though, I love big gaps.
Trade active:
Went long, I think it goes after the gap fill.

Note that my indicators aren't showing a buy right now though, so risky trade. More based on the open gap than indicators.
Trade closed manually:
Bailed on open... made beer money, that's about it
Comment:
Appears it threw a gap down again, thought something looked weird on open.
Trade active:
Saw the reversal while I was driving, pulled over and bought some calls because premium was only a buck. I figure that would limit my exposure in case CPI numbers are high and the market tanks tomorrow.

I rarely play PCAR with options but they were cheap this morning when it was red.

Didn;t look right this morning so I bailed, made a couple k
Comment:
Trying out my theory, when PCAR looks bearish short CAT. Bought a few CAT puts.
Comment:
Well that hit my trailing stop real quick, made some beer money on CAT puts but closed it.

Anyways, PCAR chart looks a lot like last May, just more whipsaw. Maybe we get another pump at the end of the month, we'll see.
Comment:
PCAR is like my tank indicator, when it goes down $2 then I know the drop is done for the day, lol
Comment:
Really disappointed with this trade because we got the gap direction we wanted, but I bailed when it stalled on open. When PCAR goes bullish on open it usually goes up by at least a buck, when it stalled at 50 cents I knew it was in trouble....

All you can do in this stupid market is get small returns on stuff you're comfortable trading I guess.
