I was waiting for the wave e upwards as well on the raising (ending) wedge that is most visible on the daily chart. It should only appear in a fifth or C waves, but today it broke at point (d) so I am not sure what we got here now. On the weekly chart it seems quite clear we are in the fifth wave.
Let's figure out the mess pattern guys hehe...suggestions?
Yes, or slight mod to the wedge like picture below. But then it looses some of it wedge form though and looks morel like a channel, it's new shape though makes it look like it is actually moment to go to point e. A too sharp wedge . But the new channel Anyway if we reach towards a all time point before election I will close my position and expect a fall.
As we're analyzing different instruments, on the one hand, in SPX, my proposed Minor wave 4 haven't entered in Minor 1 wave's territory (at least, not yet...), reason why I draw a channel instead of a wedge for a Minor wave 5's potential target. On the other hand, In ES1!, the overlapping between 4 and 1 has occurred, therefore, at least for now, conditions are different and so has to be the pattern.
True they are different instruments, still though the e-mini futures is very liquid and should form the same patterns. Would you mind post a picture of a chart with your Primarily wave count? Your intermediate wave (A) seems to be my 5th primary wave.
Woha:s well. let's hope it does not play out this way:p I do pay attention to fundamentals as well of pure interest since I have an MSc in B&E. I just can't imagine the S&P500 falling to such an extreme over the next few years with a stronger US economy which has finally started increasing the interest rate after about a decade without. But anyway no one can say for certain what is going to happen in the future, we can only speculate. Thanks for sharing:)
Not sure I understand your proposed triangles. Which type of triangle are you considering for the rally since February? Regarding your previous one (wave X in last quarter of 2015), I want to point out that, in combinations, triangles can only appear in the last segment.
