For the last two months, I've had sleepless nights. Weekends where I've looked forward to them to end as soon as possible. Meals where there's no flavor, and days that were flickering in black and white like a Charlie Chaplin film. The idea of giving up has crossed my mind, but remembering how far I've come, I've always kept it pushing. It was hard, but I am thinking that it'll all be worth it.
Reading articles and tweets about a V-shaped recovery... For a return to ATHs to the SPX... The NASDAQ returning to a 0% loss for the year... XBI making ATHs, and AAPL levitating the market up even though not a soul is buying an overpriced handheld computer of a phone... I had to go through that. I had to endure. I had to move past the taunts of the siren and truck on.

Due to COVID, I've lost all my career work, unexpectedly, overnight. Where I was once so busy that I had to turn interviews down, now I cannot even get a stage 1 phone interview locked in with a pesky Indian offshore recruiter.

What I don't get is the people who do have $1,200 stimulus checks, or the people who got fired and were given severance, what are they smoking to put the money into a long position?
