I believe every *discretionary* trader/investor must have rules, principles, and values that he/she MUST live by else they are not traders; Institutional or Retail doesn't matter. Smart money, dumb money, poor money, or generational money, doesn't matter, and we don't care because the markets we trade are free for all!
There are a lot of wannabes "discretionary traders" out there in the world but without trader's DNA or Psychology

- Always stick to the analysis.
- Only invest in original ideas or the business you like.
- Let the market decide the outcome.
- Understand win and loss are a part of the trading business.
- Always Back-test and Front-test technical to analyze market participants.
- Always know fundamentals will catch up with the technical.
- Invest in the company, which has a good future.
- Owing a share means a piece of the company, always respect that.
- Do not overtrade.
