I have seen the emergence of the so-called Metaverse and I am not that impressed. They bring along with them the weaknesses of the old Web while making claims of new world tech innovations that have affected the metaverse from the stories of late where coin exchanges are hacked and where arrests and charges have been laid from dealings with the metaverse.
The Metaverse claims to transmogrify your digital security consciousness on an old hackable web while encouraging weak new technologies to be popular.
Just like many software versions I have decided to skip web3 and go straight to web4.
Web4 takes you off the old web and is then wrapped around security that will make many systems wrap around the old web, disappear, and become irrelevant.
You will need to build and interact within this system that will know who you are and digitally sign you to any transaction you make which will discourage thieves, you call them hackers but they are just criminals, as there is a trail of their dealings to the point that your coins can’t be sold as the system knows who they belong too and if they are stolen.
This Web4 is already operational and has the protocols in place that are governed not by big tech but those who are invested into it. Accepted and partnered with the biggest coins which are also operational.
Web4 coin exchanges will not be hacked and if you have set yourself up correctly at home you will not be hacked at home and if you are then you will have a digital signature that you can follow to recover.
I keep reading now that crypto is being used more and more for criminals and the reasons why it should be banned are that it comes from many decades from the old systems. They will soon find themselves caught much easier and as usual rules are being applied to us all because of the bad behavior of a few.
