Google Trends is your friend!
While interest in Bitcoin, particularly in USA, is flagging (ibb.co/m0TNPp), interest in emerging markets with high-inflation or generally unsteady economies is rapidly taking off again (ibb.co/cbWsPp). These people aren't laggards, they've been in from the start. They have a genuine need for alternative currencies as their own national currencies weaken and weaken.

This has got to be one of the bigger unspoken worries at present. Indian Rupee has sunk more than 45% since the end of 2011. A country of over 1.3 bn people and one of the flagship emerging economies.
