I'm experimenting with a new type of support and resistance with this short. My rational is USDCAD had to hold a crucial 4 hour area to look a lot better when it was coming down. My idea is we didn't have much support at this area and broke under so the chances of us continuing an extended downtrend is much higher. Based on this I'm deciding to short the area and treating the trade as a scalp with a 3 R/R. I'll be taking 70% of profits within this risk reward scenario and letting the rest run in case we break down lower.
