The reaction to the Silver chart was quite different than what I expected. There were very insightful posts. However, I think some people saw "The Moons" Phenomenon for the first time and thought "Wow This Could Be A Great System"....
The "Moons Cycle Phenomenon" works on certain markets. I found in a lot of the comments (On The Original Moons Post Using Silver as an example) people were trying to "Force" a certain symbol to work.
The "Moons Cycle" is what it is. A "Potential" Catalyst For Price Movement. Nothing More....Nothing Less...
It either has a significant impact or it doesn't. If the cycle interests you I suggest throwing the indicator on a Daily chart with a year or so worth of history. The "Second" you apply a symbol to it if it doesn't "Immediately" Jump out at you that Price "Reverses" and or makes a "Significant" move consistently around the "Moons" then move on to another symbol.
It either works or it doesn't....It's That Simple....
Thanks again to thecloneranger...Sharing the USDJPY pair with me has resulted in some nice profits in my Forex account. Thecloneranger was generous enough to point out after doing the research the Yen moves well around the cycle.
I've only looked at the USDJPY but it's worth taking a look at any ETF's that trade based on the Yen, and I would be interested to see how the Japanese stocks and the Japanese stock index correlates to the "Moons" Cycle.
I'll provide a few setups I've used over the years regarding the cycle on the next post. I'll also share more detailed insight on how I've noticed all assets that correlate with the Moons Cycle change from reacting to the Full Moon, to the New Moon, and also go from a price reversal phase to a continuation phase.
