USDZAR: 11-days price streak - will history repeat itself?

Previous 11-day price streak of such magnitude ended in January 1987 when the rand was at R2.06 against the dollar.
During this year, the rand continued to strengthen to R1.8744.
In December 1987 the rand started its journey of weakness moving from R1.8744 to current levels of R14.60
Will history repeat itself?
The lower panel is the Coppock curve (momentum) and usually ends in the 18 to 23-days streak.
