Good technical analysis in my opinion is always better than fundamental analysis. Technical analysis done correctly allows you to read every candlestick pattern and lets the market guide you carefully to where it is going. On the other hand fundamental analysis can be time consuming and is generally speculative and even if correct may not always keep you on the right side of the market. I prefer techniques that lets you stay on the right side of the trend in any market and any time frame.
