VZ pays almost a 5% dividend so I am wondering when someone will pick this up? 3 year low is 48.84 so perhaps a place for a stop is you wanted to be on the really safe side or under most recent low somewhere which is 50.86 which is the yearly low as of yesterday.
VZ fell past immediate support and that support can become resistance.
Price is outside the lower band and has stayed below it for longer than many dwell down there. 3 big red ones which looks very bearish but can flush panicky sellers out as well. Negative moving average crossovers.
It looks like VZ paid dividends recently on 10-7-21. There are people who buy before dividends then sell after they collect it. I do not do this but I know people who do. I suppose it is a hazard that comes with paying a high dividend. This possibly contributed to the recent downtrend. Just guessing.
Negative volume is high. Short interest less than 1%.
The moving averages need a lot of work.
