XRT Puts

Short
AMEX:XRT   SPDR S&P Retail ETF
XRT puts have good liquidity, cheaper way to bet on COSTCO earnings than COST options. Going with puts this morning. Already down quite a bit while I'm typing this since most retailers are tanking anyways.
Comment:
Flipping half the puts here, betting against COSTCO with the rest.
Comment:
Costco down afterhours, beat on revenues but gross income was lower than last year. Margins taking a hit.

Also, keep an eye on SPX and RUT (small cap) futures tomorrow pre-market, heading down right now, but things can flip around quickly before market open. Looking to flip at least half of my remaining puts tomorrow if the market goes down. Obvious target is $41 support if it gets there next week.
Comment:
COSTCO down $8, indices futures down, XRT down pre-market.

We're getting a gap down as I expected, what you do from here is up to you. I'm not sure if the gap closes or if the market will tank. I'm not a crystal ball. All I know is I'm flipping some more puts here before the weekend.
Comment:
As I suspected, they closed the gap. Took some more profit and dumped it into Costco puts this morning.
Comment:
Costco proved to be a better return on money, but I still have a small position in XRT. Closing it before the Fed announcement on Wed. The Feds have a bad habit of reversing the market direction.
Comment:
Still looking weak, may break down to next support. NKE reports earnings tomorrow night, XRT puts are a cheap way to play NKE earnings. UAA puts would probably work as well.

No position in XRT, I have NKE and UAA weekly puts.
