The $250 for this past week expired worthless. Now, to sell another one. I have no issue selling at $355 + 3.55 of covered call premium
Buy low, sell high!! :-) Gorgeous bounce off of the 200 SMA
I have no issues, fears or concerned getting called away here. I know a lot of people are bag holding FSLY. COULD be a chance to DCA a bit and ride out the storm. Chipping away. 92% chance this one expires worthless next week and I sell some $65 for Dec.
I don't think this earnings gap EVER fills on RBLX. It will fill SOME obviously, but not all the way. GREAT GAP. Bye bye RBLX. I have no issue getting called away next week for a win.
I now have 700 shares. Been accumulating. This is the 4th covered call I've done. I have no qualms getting called away in Nov at $30. LIKELY happens if we get a good earnings gap. EVENTUALLY this stock breaks out strongly in one direction or another. I'll buy to close this call sale given the opportunity to win on it.
My FUBO weekly 29 Strike Options Expired today. I collected $0.63 and stock that I bought at $28.63 was called away at $29. On Monday Nov 1, I'll buy another weekly covered call and collect the premium. Hopefully the premium will be above 2%.
Selling some premium over earnings. I will not be sad to sell my shares at $280. Nice double bottom.
... to April 14th 16 Covered Call for a .40 credit. Comments: My cost basis in shares was 14.76 (See Post Below). Now it's 14.76 - .40 or 14.36. At the time of fill, the short call aspect of this setup was worth .97, so will look at the setup again when that approaches 50% max. I naturally don't generally like rolling out this far in time, but wanted to stay...
I JUST bought back my October 15th 2021 $820 call sale against my shares and long calls on TSLA. I sold for $10.40, bought back for $3.30 for a $7 Realized gain. Now, I'm selling the November. $900 for 12 limit. My goal is to buy to close these calls before November expiration. THIS IS over earnings... but my expectation is earnings will come out and TSLA will...
$31 is my target anyway. Sell high, buy low. THIS LOOKS like the breakout, which is great! I would not mind selling my shares, AT ALL, at $31
... for a .68 credit. Comments: There isn't any November or December monthly yet, so extending duration out to January. My original cost basis was 15.44/share (See Post Below). With this roll, it's now 15.44 - .68 or 14.76, so I could conceivably roll this down to 15 with "my next move" and still be selling above my cost basis. However, we'll wait and see if...
... for a 15.44 debit. Comments: A small engagement trade in the small account ... . Here, going monied (i.e., the short call is in-the-money versus out-of-the-money), looking for MJ to stay above 16 running through expiry. Post-fill, entered an order to take it off for 15.95 (.05 short of max). That is unlikely to fill until the waning days of the short call...
I have 400 shares. Great earnings. Buy low, sell high :=)
... and closing August 20th 20 Short Call and opening September 2x 20 Short Calls. Notes: This is a trade that started out as a call ratio where I bought 2 x the 15's calls and sold a 20 call in the August 20th expiry, after which it promptly moved toward 15. I'm inclined to think that it will need more time to work out, so exercised the long calls today to...
We have a lot of HNST products thanks to some great friends of mine. Bought 500 shares. Doing a July covered call for 17.50 I will rinse and repeat until called away for a gain.
Sell into strength. WHAT A BREAKOUT. I love it!!!
Asset: Realty Income (O) Time frame: 4 Hr Strategy: Selling the July 16 Covered Calls at 70. This gives me an extra $45 in income this month if the option expires worthless, which based on my analysis with Maverick Indicators, looks like it will. Granted, I do own 100 shares of the stock to begin with, and my cost basis is well below the current price of $67.80...
