XAUUSD Video Analysis Brief – Weekly Forecast Summary (2025)This video summarizes the key scenarios and technical outlook for Gold (XAUUSD) on the weekly timeframe, integrating both Fibonacci-based projections and macro fundamentals.
Core Setup
Gold is currently positioned near the 161.8% Fibonacci extension (~$3,276).
A breakout toward $3,500 is possible before a potential corrective move.
Scenario 1: Bullish Continuation
Gold breaks above $3,435 → rallies to $4300 → continues toward major Fibonacci targets:
TP: $4,320, which is the Fibonacci level 261.8%
Scenario 2: Correction First
Gold fails to hold above $3,435 → triggers a healthy correction to:
TP1: $2,920
TP2: $2,650
If support 161.8% level holds in the correction zone, a renewed bullish phase is expected.
Macro Alignment
Central bank gold buying (notably BRICS) supports the long-term bid.
Fed policy leaning dovish → tailwinds for gold.
Inverse correlation with DXY:
DXY below 98.95 → bullish for gold
DXY above 100 → signals correction
Effect on Altcoins
If correction is risk-on driven, capital may rotate into altcoins.
If triggered by macro stress or USD strength, alts may fall alongside gold.
This analysis offers a multi-scenario framework to navigate the next major moves in gold, with key levels to watch for traders, investors, and macro analysts alike.
Fibonacci Extension
Two-phase FOMC reaction on EURUSD explained: Where next?EURUSD experienced a classic "dovish-then-hawkish" whipsaw following the Fed's 25bp cut. The Initial dovish reaction saw the fibre surge above 1.19 to multi-year highs as the dot plot showed 50bp additional cuts vs expected 25bp in 2025. However, Powell's hawkish presser reversed gains within the hour, describing the cut as "risk management" rather than an aggressive easing cycle start.
EURSD is finding support at 1.1778 (previous high), with the price having taken out the 100% Fibonacci extension from August lows. Critical support sits at 1.1740, with a break below invalidating the bullish bias.
Bullish Scenario
Targets : 1.1830, 1.1866 (critical level), then 1.2000-1.2032
Triggers : Hold above 1.1778, break above 1.1866
Rationale : ECB-Fed divergence theme intact with ECB holding, while Fed cuts
Bearish Scenario (Potential Dead Cat Bounce)
Targets : 1.1750, 1.1730
Entry : Short at 61.8% Fibonacci retracement (~1.1832)
Stop : Above 1.1878
R:R Ratio : 3.38
Where next?
ECB pause vs Fed easing supports underlying bullish EUR/USD theme despite near-term volatility. But the next FOMC meetings are more critical as Powell emphasised a "meeting-by-meeting" approach. Current pullback is likely a retracement before a potential continuation higher, but watch for rejection at the weekly trendline resistance shy of 1.20.

Gold hits record highs ahead of FOMC! Tech SetupGold reached fresh all-time highs near $3690 ahead of Wednesday's FOMC meeting. Its rally reflects a perfect storm of Fed dovishness and geopolitical tensions, but technical divergences suggest positioning carefully ahead of Powell's decision. The 100% Fib extension and double divergence setup makes any hawkish surprise particularly dangerous for leveraged longs.
CATALYSTS DRIVING THE RALLY:
Fed rate cut fully priced in (25bps expected, some 50bps speculation)
US-China tensions escalate (Nvidia antitrust accusations)
Stephen Miron confirmed to Fed Board of Governors (dovish member)
Dollar weakness supporting precious metals
Surprising correlation: Nasdaq & S&P 500 also hit records alongside gold
TECHNICAL LEVELS:
Resistance :
$3,700 - Key psychological level
$3,750 - Next major target
$3,800 - Extended upside if dovish
Support :
$3,660 - First support for entries
$3,610 - Major support level
Previous swing lows - Stop loss reference
WARNINGS:
Double divergence on 4H & 1H timeframes
100% Fibonacci extension reached
RSI overbought conditions
Momentum diverging from price action
FOMC SCENARIOS:
Bullish Case : Dovish 25bps + accommodative guidance → Target $3,750-$3,800
Risk Case : Hawkish surprise or even neutral tone → Profit-taking toward $3,600-$3,500
KEY RISKS:
Powell emphasising inflation persistence
Resistance to aggressive cutting cycle
Hawkish dot plot projections
Any break below $3,660 signals deeper correction potential

How I do BTCUSD Projection to 80K by 13 MarchThis is how I do a simple geometric Fibonacci projection...
1. Set up the Fibonacci projection
2. Draw an arrow from 0 to 1, clone it
3. Shift the cloned arrow to the bottom of the retracement
4. Mark out the level, usually at 1.618, and time frame is around that spot.
Fibonacci retracements and extensions Fibonacci retracements and extensions are popular tools used in technical analysis to identify potential support, resistance, and reversal levels in GBP/USD (British Pound/US Dollar) trading. Here's how traders can utilize Fibonacci retracements and extensions effectively:
**Fibonacci Retracements:**
1. **Identify the Trend:** Before applying Fibonacci retracements, identify the prevailing trend in GBP/USD. Fibonacci retracements are typically applied during trending markets to identify potential retracement levels within the trend.
2. **Select Swing Points:** Identify significant swing points on the GBP/USD chart, such as recent highs and lows. These swing points are used to anchor the Fibonacci retracement levels.
3. **Apply Fibonacci Levels:** Draw Fibonacci retracement levels by connecting a swing high to a swing low (in an uptrend) or a swing low to a swing high (in a downtrend). Common retracement levels include 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, and 78.6%.
4. **Analyze Potential Reversal Zones:** Traders look for GBP/USD price to pull back to one of the Fibonacci retracement levels after a significant move in the direction of the trend. These levels may act as potential support or resistance zones, where traders anticipate a reversal or continuation of the trend.
5. **Confirm with Other Indicators:** Confirm Fibonacci retracement levels with other technical indicators, such as moving averages, trendlines, or candlestick patterns, to increase the probability of successful trades.
**Fibonacci Extensions:**
1. **Identify the Trend:** Fibonacci extensions are applied to identify potential price targets in the direction of the prevailing trend. They are often used in conjunction with Fibonacci retracements to identify both retracement levels and extension targets.
2. **Select Swing Points:** Similar to Fibonacci retracements, select significant swing points to anchor the Fibonacci extension levels. These swing points should represent the initial impulse move in the direction of the trend.
3. **Apply Fibonacci Levels:** Draw Fibonacci extension levels by connecting a swing low to a swing high (in an uptrend) or a swing high to a swing low (in a downtrend). Common extension levels include 127.2%, 161.8%, 200%, and 261.8%.
4. **Identify Potential Price Targets:** Traders use Fibonacci extension levels to identify potential price targets where GBP/USD may encounter resistance or support as the trend progresses. These levels act as potential areas for taking profits or setting price targets for trades.
5. **Combine with Other Analysis Tools:** Combine Fibonacci extensions with other technical analysis tools, such as trendlines, chart patterns, or momentum oscillators, to confirm potential price targets and strengthen trading signals.
By incorporating Fibonacci retracements and extensions into their GBP/USD trading strategy, traders can identify key support, resistance, and price target levels, helping them make more informed trading decisions and manage risk effectively.

Possible GBPUSD movementsEnglish
First of all, I looked at the market structure, we have a very clear bearish structure since the 70´s and I looked at the last fractal to see the possible movements and debts the price may cover in his path.
I saw the last movements during (The LL and LH) that last bearish movement that the price didn´t get at least the 50% Fibo´s, it happened with the two bearish movements.
I took a look as well at the possible debts and I used the Fibo extension and noticed a debt in the level 1 (100), so we still have a zone to cover right down (A possible LL).
So, we have two possible movements and two debts that we need to pay attention, one in the 1.86648 price to look for bearish movement and another one waiting for the price to go down and get the debt in the 1 (100) zone of our Fibo extension in the price 0.95397.
Let´s see what the market does to "refresh" my analysis.

How to work out additional levels when breaking to new highsThis is a bit trickier and there are certain techniques that you can use. I personally use Fibonacci extensions, point and figure and any potential patterns to offer potential upside targets. I realise I have been a bit cavalier with my point and figure upside target, as you can work this out exactly, but wanted to show the techniques I use rather than concentrate on the actual count itself.
I took a look at the Apple price to give potential upside targets. The potential new targets are contingent on the old high around 183 breaking.

Irregular but effective setup for GoldAs we can see on the chart, WXY pattern is clear with an irregular X wave (because of yesterday's Fed news), but still valid and didn't break the low of wave W.
A contracting triangle is forms wave B in the ABC pattern for wave W, even if a huge wick went out of it: closing above the downside of the triangle, this candle on H1 shows that the setup was still valid (second irregular form). Wave Y can be the extension of 0.618, 1 and fib level of wave W and X, to give a chance to this sideways trading market to take a direction.
Wait for 1690 and 1700,
Goodluck,
Joe.
USDCAD, extended wave to end soonUSDCAD has been trading in a zigzag structure (channel) with higher highs and higher lows on daily timeframe. It has reached a horizontal resistance zone.
we can notice a WXYXZ Elliot structure, with ABC patterns in every impulse and X correction after it (11 waves in the channel). USDCAD is close to the end of the last extended wave C: we can notice in it 12345 Elliot waves structure. With Fibonacci extensions, wave 5 can reach 1.335 (or the rectangle we draw based on the fib extension).
However, a head and shoulders pattern is recognized on m30, waiting for USDCAD to break the neckline with a candle closing below it to take the sell.
Be careful with your risk management, the last extended wave can still reach 1.25 fib extension before ending.
Goodluck everyone,
Joe.
A last chance for the Euro ?Under the US dollar pressure, EURUSD has been making lower lows and lower highs recently. However, RSI on the monthly chart is oversold for the 3rd time in this century.
MACD is showing bullish divergence on multiple timeframes, and the EURUSD on H4 has just achieved a higher high this time with 5 impulse waves: the ABC correction is clear on the chart, wave C is nearly around 0.76 to 0.8 fib retracement. With today's good news on euro CPI and core CPI (higher than expected for both), we can give this currency a chance to retest the end of impulse wave 5, or even to make a higher high.
Stoploss can go below the impulse wave 2 for some people, or below the lowest low (the beginning of the impulse wave).
Note that on a long term perspective, USD is still stronger than EURO, we will just give eurusd a chance after the new high we saw lately.
Goodluck everyone,
Joe.

Trend-Based Fibonacci Extension TutorialUsing a simple 50% Gann level can work wonders for your trading game and provide that extra bit of confidence needed to not exit trades too early or trail your stop-loss too tightly for fear of price reversing too soon.
Simply pull if from most recent consecutive pivot markers high/low/high or visa versa.
BTCUSDT wants to retest the 0.5 Fibonacci level
The price is testing the 0.618 Fibonacci level on the monthly support (29k)
On the daily timeframe the price is testing the 0.382 Fibonacci level as resistance.
on 4h timeframe the price is creating a symmetrical triangle.
How to approach it?
IF the price is going to have a breakout from the 32k and retest it as new resistance, According to Plancton's strategy , we can set a nice order
