COSMOS Pharmaceutical Corp. engages in the operation of drugstores. It operates through the following business divisions: Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Miscellaneous Goods, General Food, and Others. The Pharmaceutical division markets general drugs, health drinks, oral and nursing care products, vitamins, health food, and dietary food and supplements. The Cosmetics division engages in the sale of skin and hair care products for men and women; and makeup kits. The Miscellaneous Goods division sells detergents, insecticides, toiletries, kitchenware, garden supplies, clothing, and car related products. The General Food division includes processed food, seasonings, bread, pastries, dairy products, beverages, and liquor. The Others division distributes tobacco and cigarettes. The company was founded by Masateru Uno and Noriko Uno in February 1973 and is headquartered in Fukuoka, Japan.
