It operates through the following segments: Trade, Distribution, Generation, Mining, and Other Activity. The Trade segment deals with the purchase and sale of electricity. The Distribution segment offers electricity distribution and transmission services. The Generation segment handles generation of electricity from conventional and renewable sources, as well as generation of industrial heat. The Mining segment includes production and sale of coal, and companies providing support services to mines. The Other Activity segment consists of maintenance and modernization of road lighting equipment, transport services, repair, and construction services. The company was founded on October 31, 1904 and is headquartered in Poznan, Poland.
