Lion Corp. engages in the manufacture and sale of dental and body care, laundry, household cleaners, pharmaceuticals, and health products. It operates through the following business segments: Consumer Products, Industrial Products, Overseas, and Other. The Consumer Products segment manufactures and sells daily necessities, over-the-counter drugs and function food. These include toothpaste, toothbrush, hand soap, antipyretic analgesic, eye drops, nutritional drink, laundry detergent, softener, and bleach. The Industrial Products segment provides chemical raw materials and business supplies. These include oil and fat activator, conductive carbon, and professional cleaning agent. The Overseas segment handles the operation of overseas subsidiaries that manufactures and sells daily commodities. The Other segment includes construction contracting, real estate management, transportation storage, and staffing. The company was founded by Tomijiro Kobayashi on October 30, 1891 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
