The Corporate and Business Banking segment comprises companies, the leasing subgroup, and self-employed individuals. The Retail Banking segment includes the results of business relationships with private individuals, employees and self-employed individuals in the Austrian market who are not registered in the commercial register and have a liability of less than €1 million with Oberbank. The Financial Markets segment presents the results of investments and trading activities, as well as the net interest income from maturity transformation and the balance sheet structure. The Other segment reports revenues and expenses, primarily overhead costs in material and personnel expenses, as well as depreciation expenses allocation or distribution of which to other segments does not appear sensible. The company was founded by Carl Franz Planck von Planckburg on July 1, 1869 and is headquartered in Linz, Austria.
