Range created with cciv, buying after rejection at lows and bullish engulfing.

First trade of the week, looking at range created on xauusd from influence on dxy. Xauusd is still in a bullish structure, yet playing a range on 1hr time frame. Took buy in middle of range targeting high of range after bullish confirmation.

Price playing out range very similar to dxy. Need clear directional bias to be shown in market.

Need price to provide clear directional bias. structurally forming a range just like dxy, price gapped out of the HL area and very close to the low. Would like to see price take out that level and the low before bearish continuation. If bullish, need a clear break of structure and formation of higher hh before looking for entry.

Looking at dxy we have created mini range below the highs. Still biased because we are still in an uptrend on the bigger time frames. Price is at LH area on 4hr time frame and can reverse from there. if it breaks above and creates new high will stay bullish on dollar. If we can create new low, then bearishness will be confirmed.

GbpUsd buy set up. Nice formation of higher low and new highs. rejection occurred at minor hl. Using this in confluence with market structure to look for longs. approach entry as if in ranging market, simply wait for break out and retest of the highs or lows.
