EU Draft: Copyright owners may benefit from content generated by

NASDAQ:AAPL   Apple Inc
AI service providers will be required to disclose copyright material used to build systems, according to the text of new draft EU legislation. Developers who generate AI models must publish a "sufficiently detailed summary" of the copyrighted material they use, the draft text says. This means that when the work of publishers and content creators becomes the material of AI-generated content, they can make profits under the proposed bill regulations. This is also one of the most concerned business issues in the EU since the chatbot ChatGPT was announced. It is understood that developers need to ingest billions of texts, images, videos, music, codes, etc. on the Internet when training large language models, so that the model can export marketing copy, new images or new songs.
