BMO Bank of Montreal Options Ahead of Earnings

Analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of BMO Bank of Montreal prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 85usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2024-1-19,
for a premium of approximately $3.80.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

BMO traded at $87.07 after earnings, and the calls went up from $3.80 (when I wrote this article) to $4.50 at the close today - when the stock was only $85.26.
