If we stop looking at fundamentals and look purely at market patterns, BTC will most likely resume its ascent after hitting somewhere in the mid to low 20k. After which it could potentially reach a top peak around 100k until it finds equilibrium around 20-50k.
Realistically, it will eventually get replaced by something more efficient due to its crippling use of power but that's another topic of conversation altogether.
