BTC SHORT - From $47k

Short

I was enjoying watching my long finally move up to the $47k TP but that was quick. Tough price action recently but was 100% committed to this.

I can't enjoy it for too long as BTC is still in my SHORT phase in the Q4 plan + in the near-term there is excellent chop incoming over the next week - between $47k and $45k then back to test the break at $43k.

Plan:
- Sell Long - Ladder out from $$47k
- Short BTC at $47k (it might fall short so laddering in after top)
- Reduce ALT exposure - many are likely to retest their local high in the coming weeks but there may be pullback first as BTC fails to break $47k
- Play the Chop on BTC only. Intraday only, 3x to 6x leverage.

Learnings
-- Need to get better at forecasting DXY interplay with BTC

Moonbois - Only a couple of months left of this Bearish phase from the top - Inverted BTC at $60k

The short will come but it looks like it might be nearer $49k. Waiting for daily close
Comment:
short went in at $48k, Long closed.
Expecting this to play out
Comment:
stops on ALTs now in place - ready for the pullback

Toast - stopped at break :(
What a pump!
Comment:
still expecting the DXY to pull this down with a possible re-entry.
Comment:
Short squeeze straight into the horizontal resistance. It was always a risk - break under the ascending support line then pump to liquidate shorts. Re-entered on breakdown, $38,500 - lightly leveraged on shorts for this period and should break-even if BTC moves up past $48,200 on DXY news. Still 100% committed to the BTC short and will revaluate if $50k breaks and holds.
