This thing that we will have all these separate chains in crypto with different languages and standards is going to end at some point and all the capital and developers are going to get consolidated on the BTC and ETH ecosystems. The market doesnt have a standard to build on yet, but it will at one point.
The internet is build on standards and everyone now knows and tries to follow those standards. The same thing will happen with crypto. The ecosystem winners are already determined: BTC and ETH. That is why i dont believe that all these other layer 1 chains will succeed long term.
You have BTC along side ordinals and its layer 2s and you have ETH along side its coins and its layer 2s. Everything else will be a flash in the pan.
