Bitcoin Based on Fundamental Analysis - Let's Discuss!
Hello guys! I would like to involve you more on my posts, please read until the end. I want to make posts formatted as discussions for different topics, and allow you to share your cool ideas with all my audience and the TradingView audience in a simple way.
This is the 1st post and the topic for discussion is: The future of Bitcoin based on Fundamental Analysis (FA)!
I wrote about Bitcoin movements in long run. These posts were based on Technical Analysis. Yes, the market looks bullish in long run, but any stable trend must be supported by a fundamental basis.
So here are the questions:
- What do you think about such support?
- Any important news which can push the market higher?
- Does the market have potential for reaching the previous high at 20000.00 level and then even push it to a new one? How much time it will take?
- And of course, does Bitcoin look strong based on Fundamental Analysis in the long run after such a deep correction which we had these last months?
These questions and replies on them will be able to show us bigger picture and give more ideas which strategies to use for this market.
From my point of view, I think the market still keep some potential based on FA. The potential could be higher, of course, and it seems to me that the market missed the hype. Still, BTC as a coin which has the official status of a financial instrument - I mean Bitcoin Futures - can increase in price. It can be used as a alternative for traditional markets. It does not have correlation with other markets and it can be good for diversification any portfolio.
If Bitcoin is confirmed by the main countries as a payment instrument and it is regulated. this should increase the potential for growing. Yes, probably this market won’t be so volatile like before, but institutional money will make the market more solid. It can open new perspectives in the long run.
Another thing is that Bitcoin can be considered as a good investment instrument. The Blokchain Technology will push push the World into new fields where cryptocoins will have supply. If so, Bitcoin as the King of crypto World will find its holders.
Probably my understanding Bitcoin Future based on these arguments is not correct, but I never present myself as FA expert. I will be glad to read your ideas, thoughts and take part in discussion. So, let’s start?

1- As you can see in my chart all Bitcoin downtrend lines that were dominating the bearish scenario are now broken. The support that you show us in the chart is exactly the last downtrend broken. This support should be pretty strong considering that it is now a mark between bear market and bull market and we also must remember that breaking this 7.8K-8K resistance area was a very hard mission for bulls.
Any important news which can push the market higher?
2- The only true important news that is hyped and really can implicate the price that I saw recently was ETF news. Maybe just maybe something new wil come up. But the ETF by itself is already very important since it can be a bullish or bear news. Bullish if it gets aproved and bear if it gets delayed, rejected or if some fake news comes out saying that it was rejected.
- Does the market have potential for reaching the previous high at 20000.00 level and then even push it to a new one? How much time it will take?
3- Bitcoin right now has no more downtrend lines so the only thing BTC needs to face is the strongest resistance prices(blue lines) in my chart but in my opinion it is necessary a very strong catalyst for Bitcoin and that can be Bitcoin ETF. If we get a catalyst we have high chances of reaching 17K-20K and if we break the all time high I expect 25-28K dollars (30K+ is kinda nuts and will be needed a lot of fomo for that).
- And of course, does Bitcoin look strong based on Fundamental Analysis in the long run after such a deep correction which we had these last months?
4- Bitcoin in my opinion is starting to look bullish in FA since recently a lot of bullish news are coming out and we have an ETF possibility coming up which can be the next bull run catalyst.

Hi Dlavrov, this is a great idea, English is not my first language, but I will try my best.
Considering only Fundamental analysis. I think there will be three main news/trends that will affect the BTC price in a mid term (bearish or bullish), and one will affect particularly others altcoins like Ethereum, EOS, etc.
1.- The further approval of some ETFs Bitcoin-based. That will represent a HUGE amount of money trading cryptos (more volume) because of all the hype and FOMO. If the ETFs will be approved, I hope for an hyper bullish run after august untill december, maybe hitting $16-$22k (with parabolic growth), if the ETFs will be rejected by the SEC, we probably see a bearish run untill $5k.
2.- The regulation imposed/proposed by G20. Probably, in october, we will see some new regulations draft by G20, and those regulations will be active in 2019 or 2020. At short term, maybe we can wait a big dislike among the community, but in a long term, it will be good for everybody, because those new rules will attract a LOT of money by institutional investors and people who is often skeptical about cryptos. These news I think only will turn the market SO bullish.
3.- An exponential growth of security tokens and its implementation. I think we are about to see a huge growth of security tokens and a LOT of money and people enjoying this tokenization. A lot of projects will be developed with this technology, instead of the other typical ways to raise money, like IPOs or Crowdfunding. That will be a good scenario for cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, EOS, et cetera.
My personal conclusion: By the next weeks we can wait for a little bit correction (maybe $6.8 or $7.2k) and then we will go SO bullish, maybe $16-$22k for december 2018.
