Want a SWEET Future ?

Long
AMEX:CANE   Teucrium Sugar Fund ETV
Let's take a look at the monthly chart. Of course, it is easier to draw and analyse the charts on hindsight, plotting all the support and resistance level.

Rather than arguing if you are the first person to spot the bottom or breakout, I am more interested if this trend will persist and if the market offers me a buying opportunity. I have shared before that the Mr Market will offers us investors many many opportunities to get into the market, sometimes it is very obvious other time not so clear. So, if you have missed the first 3 chances, fret not, another opportunity could be coming up soon.

I suggest you keep this post in your watchlist and come back maybe once a week to check out the prices, if it breaks out or pullback at the resistance. No stress, no pressure, take your own sweet time to monitor.

Then go and do your own research and see if this is worth parking some spare cash or as part of your diversification strategy. Of course, this is a high risk asset class (if you don't know what you don't know) and may deter you from investing.

HINT - go to any shopping mall and take a look at the beverage section. Does sugary content drink outsell the healthier, organic type ? Despite global warning about the consequences of getting diabetes from overconsumption of high sugary food (biscuits, drinks, cakes, etc) , is the global trend declining or getting worse?

(read this article here :https://www.who.int/news/item/13-12-2022-who-calls-on-countries-to-tax-sugar-sweetened-beverages-to-save-lives)

Ask yourself - if you are the government and knows that all these stuff are making your people sick , obese, amputate limbs from diabetes, heart surgeries and all, WHY are you allowing MORE and MORE companies, big and small into your country that sell all these food and drinks ?Are imposing a tax on sugar the solution ?

Take tobacco tax - ask any smokers, did they quit or smoke less with each increasing year of price increase ? I believe the answer is an affirmative NO. Again you asked WHY ? It is simple coz it is addictive . So, what sticks like your habits , which is unconscious will happen on a daily basis multiply by the whole world. So is the system fundamentally sound?

Let's not go there and stick to investment. If you make profits out of it and decide to do some charity work or make a commitment to get yourself healthy, reduce your sugar intake, I applaud your efforts.

You can have a SWEET future without touching the sweet stuff, really......if you are committed....
