You can use order blocks with scalping or day trading, just use higher time frames above your entry time frames. Both 4 hr and 1 hr time frames, I have found work great if you use 15 minute charts for entry of day trades.
You should be able to put any weeks worth of hourly time frame chart on and place both the major bearish and bullish order blocks and see if the week had any minor order blocks too.
