3 Simple Scalping Strategies

These trading strategies are tested by me personally, and actually it is what i use in my day to day trading, or to my trading robots.

Each trading session has different periods of increased volatility, and so those periods are most of interest for me. To make it easier to understand, if the market is not moving, than, the price is consolidating, and the following strategies are working only when the price is moving to new highs or lows.

GENERAL RULLES

Time Frame - 1 minute
SL - 1 x ATR
TP - minimum 2R to a maximum of 4R
London Session trading hours - 08:00 to 10:00
Asia Session trading hours - 01:00 to 03:00
New York session trading hours - 13:00 to 15:00
Time zone from the given example is Copenhagen GMT / UTC+1
Recommended instruments EURUSD/USDJPY/GBPUSD

Scalping Strategy 1 - Moving average 100 Period Breaks

The price need to break the MA line and then on retest/touch, you open trade. This Strategy will not offer many opportunities during a session, but with a 3RR TP for each trade, considering the losing trades, you get enough opportunities to reach a target of 2R to every trading session.

Scalping Strategy 2 - Engulfing candle

The reason why this strategy works is simple. It shows that the strength has moved to the opposite party, and the price might continue to move for a while in that direction.
You will get more opportunities here, so a 2RR TP is enough, because you want to cash in profits as fast as possible.

Scalping Strategy 3 - Support and resistance Breaks

This strategy is very simple, because what yo need to do is to follow the price direction, every time it breaks to new levels.
Considering that you are trading in high volatility hours, the breaks movements makes more sense than reversals.
Here you will usually get enough opportunities, and a 2RR TP is enough to get profitable on the session.

It is very important how you manage your trades, or how you apply Money Management. I have some other post on Money management that might help you.
