GBPCAD bounce off strong SUPPORT and GROW

The price continues to move in the ascending channel, which formed in mid-September of this year.

On November 23, the price just approached the upper border of the channel of the retraction line 1.742 and after that began to fall. The fall is uneven, with a large number of corrections, but the trend is still observed.

Therefore, the first thing I expect from the price is the continuation of the fall and the coming to the strong support zone at the 1.716 point. Why is this place strong?
Since here, in addition to the channel line, there is also a support line formed in July 2020.

Together they will likely give the price a good stratum for new growth in the channel. So in the end I expect the price to come back to the resistance line. The target is thus position 1.753.
