We are against the resistance - that is clear but what happens next is a bit less clear. The channel holds the key. If we stay inside that channel for a longer time, then I'd say chances are that the price will simply drift lower and eventually goes towards the lows to take the stops. But if we should see a fast break out from that channel, let's say on Wednesday, then 1.56 is the figure to keep in mind.
