CloudFlare: IPO Darling

I have a hard time analyzing IPOs because there's very little technical data to analyze, but I do have some personal industry experience with CloudFlare. The sentiment and fundamentals for this firm are strong, and that's all you can analyze with IPOs!

They're a tech company. They're positioned to eat Akamai's dogfood, too. They're not yet profitable, but that's common for a young company in the technology and internet space. They've increase revenue 43% from 2017 to 2018, and their racking up new paid customers like it's going out of style.

Take a look at the data for yourself:
Trade closed: stop reached: Well, I pulled out and just missed a haircut on this one, but that's IPOs. When this current broader market pullback cools off and is more favorable for tech stocks, I plan to put a new position in for this stock.

@chuckination I think in the next couple days we’re gonna see a buy opportunity before their earnings call, I might enter this trade soon myself
@mivanx77, I think you're right. If Monday was their short term low point and they're moving back up, the price will need to break and hold above the 20 day moving average for me to see confirmation of their buy point. The price is still way below resistance, but I don't think pivots are going to help with such a wildly swinging IPO out of the game.
Hi, This is also on my watchlist but not sure as to your rationale on entries, I would wait for this to form some nice basing action, I'm going to trade this but patience pays. Nice info on the fundamentals!

The day after I published this idea, my broader market index screen was telling me to stop buying into stocks, so I kept some profit on this with a stop loss. I'll come back to it, but not until the broader market is more favorable to buying anything other than bond funds, precious metals funds, and precious metals miners right now.
Ouch town man, it's always a no go on IPO's because of insider trading and sweeping dumb money on the masses. People who have the original stock, always buy at lower prices, wait for a pump and sell off, sweeping all the dumb money and re-buy at the bottom. Check my idea out on my profile!
This is going to be just like a spring when the general market does let off. My current holdings don't have any tech or any high growth sectors, just bonds and precious metals until this current regime passes.

I enjoy tech IPO’s, but when we find the bottom haha
@mivanx77, true, but the tops are always higher than the previous highs if the company behind the ticker is more substance than just sizzle.
