NVDA Earnings on the 18th

NASDAQ:NVDA   NVIDIA
Previously NVDA hasnt done so well with earnings and I wouldn't suspect with the higher than previous this quarter be much difference. Estimated at 2.57 is substantially higher than Q2 at nearly 25% higher and they missed target last quarter by almost 50% this seems to be a setup for failure in my mind.

The trend has been steady for last 2 weeks. Currently sitting at the .618 (530.32) retracement from the recent high to low swing. I have an alert set at 533.25 for a move to the upside and expecting a push a little higher on an earnings run after which I believe it should drop, hopefully respecting the lower trend line on this upward run but I am apprehensive up a continued upward move after earnings. A play in my opinion would be a quick scalp Monday or Tuesday for same week expiration. I know many people are speculating this stock to go back to the $600 and I am sure it will get there at some point however I dont seem them beating earnings with such a high mark given past performance.

Keep an eye out on this as it does move well, RSI is fairly low, speculation is high, price is not a bargain currently but still some money to be made with options given careful planning. I will be watching closely for a upward move and will be scalping only. After earnings some direction should be determined for a setup in either direction.
