Can Palantir break it's lifelong MACD downtrend?
I have numerous posts about PLTR. It's like a pet project of mine because I view it as a true boom or bust company. With that being said, look at the MACD trend that PLTR hasn't broken since it went public. This is probably the ULTIMATE test for PLTR. If it breaks this trend, buy the hell out of this thing. If it doesn't? Well, assume yet another bear flag.
What got me interested was Palantir's strange behavior today. It is SIGNIFICANTLY outperforming the market to the tune of 7%. I don't get too excited about these anymore, though, because they tend to get quickly sold off. Palantir is more volatile than 97% of the companies on the S&P 500 and it just so happens that today's volatility is upward. It doesn't mean anything has changed with the primary trend. If it breaks that MACD line, watch out. This thing is like a firecracker and I am convinced a short squeeze is in the making here.
