I'm new to trading view. I wrote an analysis and description of all the indicators, and wanted to title the idea "Too much noise on a chart". I had no idea how to attach the image to the idea page at first. I still don't even really know how I did it. I'm not on a free plan here. How about you just save your chart, go to publish idea, and there's a button to attach your saved chart to a spot where you can reference it while analyzing it? I couldn't find a help topic on this at all. If someone shows me how to do this I'll be your friend for life. The chart is Gann's idea that price will be mean reverting to an average consistency of pitch over a long period of time, overlaid over Fibonacci Retracements starting at the Covid bottom. We had support at a 38 Fibonacci level that lined up perfectly with a Gann 4 to 1 pitch line. Then we got a little bounce up to the 50 period VWMA, and a return (on rising volume) to the Fib .382. Now we're near support levels from a year ago. One in May, and a stronger one in early March of 2021 close to the 300 level. Round numbers like 300 tend to have a stronger psychological effect if broken. The smaller sized green candle of the week beginning Jan24, this year has made me skeptical of seeing much higher highs in the near term. Candles with smaller ranges that have massive volume bars during volatile times can indicate that it was sold off very strategically even though it's green. In short I think we can expect the next few months to have some downside without much upside. I trade mainly highly liquid options like SPY and just watch price action to determine a put or call position. I don't believe in holding positions overnight. Usually I make a long or short decision in about the first 90 minutes of the markets open. The high or low for the day is determined in the first 90 minutes around 90% of the time. Sorry that I messed up this post guys, my first post ever here. Am I missing something obvious? Half the charts I tried to save disappeared on me as well. If someone can give me a 1-5 steps on how to publish a post with a chart I'd appreciate it. I took a snapshot, then clicked on the enter snapshot box then had no idea what to do. I think I got the chart over by copying and pasting a url, but I forget where I pasted it. I'm getting old, I'm 44 on May 2 which is about one hour away. 🎂
