The high is in FOR THE. YEAR?

This was a statement made today by Joel Elconin on his post market show. Pretty interesting. Here are some aspects that could support this
Earnings = haven't been great..?
Interest rates are still going up?
AMZN, DIS, GOOGL, MSFT, EBAY, META.. ALL firing TENS OF THOUSANDS of people...
AND We are "pretty high" on the dow jones.. the S&P is hitting the 100 SMA on the weekly.
IF we will fail here, I am ok to consider placing some more shorts JUST IN CASE...
