The Big Musk

Short
NASDAQ:TSLA   Tesla
Elon Musk on Saturday asked his 62.5 million followers on Twitter in a poll if he should sell 10% of his Tesla stock. (21 billions according to reuters calculation)
We already had a short oppened :
Original trade Idea :

Why I shorted Tesla :)
Disclaimer :
This is not financial advice. Sorry for my english, its not my primary language.

I know there is a lot of Tesla and Elon Musk Fanboys, I am one myself in the sense that I respect what Tesla has achivied and I think its a good compagny. If you don't agree I totally understand and there is a high probability that I am wrong :)

But Heres some reasons that pushed me to sell Telsa:

E
  • dge against Nasdaq and Bitcoin ( The price of tesla is quite linked to Nasdaq and Bitcoin so it makes good edge against it. ) Telsa owns a shit load of BTC

Elon Musk has the abilty to drive and inspire people pushing a lot of people to invest in big projects wich leads to my third point

Tesla prices are into the roof, coworkers, cab drivers... talk about tesla stocks, Online you see retailers be like '' BUY BUY BUY !!!! " Thing is it has become a big speculation game, Tesla just started to be profitable previous quarter, and competetion is spending a lot to catch up in the eletric market. Tesla RSI is to the roof and the stock is overbought it has a big correction coming.

Oil price wont stay up forever, one big reason Telsa sales are up.

Telsa has some supply problems, and can't meet the demand even if all its competitors have same problems and are sometimes worst at dealing with those problems

It will face problems in the futur with the ability to meet the expectancy with autopilot technology and AI

This is a risky bet but the fact that its edging other long positions in my porfolio makes it a good short position. Its short term and I believe in the futur Tesla has very good profits to make.

Happy to know what do you think about it, maybe I missed something ? :)
