Wait with your new energy contracts

Gas prices are at an all-time high, in the warmest winter in the Netherlands i can remember, the impact on every day life is starting to become problematic for lots of people, especially the ones that need to renew their energy contracts now. Stay where you are with variable rates. This huge support is about to break on every time frame, if we are lucky we can renew our contracts in May with a price of 0.30ct and a duration of 3 years.

The Russia / Ukraine situation, involving Nordstream II into the EU Sanctions will highly affect this prediction.

Comment:

The invasion of the Ukraine is now exceeding the Donbas region. This is catastrophic for gas prices in Europe, this will heavily impact people and company`s in Europe. It seem inevitable that gas fields in the northern parts of the Netherlands will be brought to a high capacity.

Order cancelled:

Unless they are going to pump up a shitload of gas in the Netherlands this price is not coming back under the diagonal support any time soon.
