A lot of the clutter & confusion in our minds are as a result of the internal dialogue we have with ourselves, we have acquired so much knowledge that it is actually causing conflicting biases within our minds.
We see what the market is doing and anticipate based on intuition & experience what it may do next, more often than not we revise that idea so much that we are at loggerhead with ourselves. Come back a day, a week, a month, whatever later then you are shocked to see your initial thoughts actually played out.
Get a journal they say, compile a trading plan! It's all mucho on paper yes, but that internal dialogue will get you everytime if you allow it to. So get your mind right, decide on a specific set of rules which over a set of trades provide a desired outcome in profit. Play out these rules no matter the consequence track them over a long period, you should get some parabola outcome because that is the nature of rules, when applied in the correct environment, more often than not, the outcome is positive.
Remember, the nocebo effect is just as powerful as the placebo effect, keep a positive attitude in any streak (win or lose).
