Volkswagon VLKAY vs SP500 SPY Daily - 3 years - Deeply oversold

213 5 3
Volkswagon VLKAY             trades back and forth over a range against the S&P500             going back 3 years. It is down to the bottom end of the channel and turning up over the past four days.

Perhaps the oversold level will relieve itself and lift back to the 0.25-0.26 level, which is a relative rally of 4%-8%.

Tim 0.2400 last VLKAY/SPY, SPY             193.89, VLKAY             46.53 last.

Unfortunately, VLKAY gapped down with the weak German market and dropped right below the stop level that I outlined on the very first trade. For those of you waiting and watching for this trade to set-up again, I'll do my best to highlight when that happens. Volkswagen is going to continue to be a long idea for me as the stock is cheap. Expect more charts on VLKAY as time unfolds.

Looks similar to the gold miners.

Which gold miners do you like? I have been posting on NEM lately as a bullish setup.

I bought into NEM last night. They look ripe for a turn around technically but more importantly they and most of the others are on sale. I hesitated at the beginning of 2014 to get into GG and AEM. NEM has been slower but I suspect things will improve in due course. I've been watching them all for months now and your post put a bee in my bonnet so thanks for that. Time to be patient now I think.

NEM went up without gold and has me concerned. It hit the upside target. I raised my stop to 1 pt below the recent high. 8/15/2014 8:26AM
