Double Bottom

NYSE:VMW   None
Bullish Alternative Bat.

There are 2 bottoms with price very close to each other. ( stars) There is another slightly lower bottom at 104.72. Possible stop under one of these bottoms or where you see support.

PE 16.08 EPS 7.21. Short interest is 3.84%.

Appears to have formed a Bullish Bat , the deeper bat known as an alternative bat as it pulls to the 1.113 on the final leg versus the .886. Bats can look like a double top and appear as a an M or a slightly crooked M.

No recommendation.

3 outside down is a bullish or bearish candle pattern and the 2nd engulfing candle can signal a possible 1 more day down. This is not a usually a short term pattern. This pattern consists of a first green candle that is engulfed, or the body of the first candle is swallowed by the 2nd candle. The third candle is another red candle and is confirmation of the engulfing candle. Often this will be the end of the sequence, but of course it just depends. This is not at the top by a long shot, but when I see a bearish engulfing candle and I am looking to buy, I usually wait at least until the next day as there is a good chance it will be another red candle. Spinning top so far today, a candle of indecision.

If this second candle were a bearish harami and the third candle was red, it would be called 3 inside down.
