No, it's not bitcoin. It's XAUUSD (gold) weekly chart, we can see that 2013-2014-2015 was not wonderful years for precious metal lovers..
However, 2016 put an end to this massive retrace.
2017 was calm (but technically bullish).

2018 might bring us some crazy surprises, never forget gold!
