Bitcoin is a low liquidity asset where large players own the most of it, so they have to go through the accumulation and distribution cycles where they create a fake support aka a descending triangle support to dump at the top of the triangle and the vice versa in an ascending triangle. This goes for months until their bags are filled or sold and then they support these positions by protection them at lower levels creating bull and bear flags, until it reaches another level or selling or buying.
